We highlighted West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe NRA A-Rated Manchins post-Newtown come-to-Jesus epiphany on the need for common sense gun control laws earlier this week. But not long after basking in the approval of media outlets everywhere for his level-headedness on the issue, he tried to walk the whole thing back. As he backpeddled furiously, mediaite.com reports that he was heard shouting, Im not supporting a ban on anything, Manchin said. He instead reinforced his praise of the gun lobby group, saying, Im so proud of the NRA, Im so pleased they agreed to be part of this. But Mountain Staters werent having any of it and gathered yesterday to let Tailgunner Joe know how much hes appreciated back home. Reader Bill Bargo was on hand and estimated the crowd outside Manchins Charleston office numbered about 200. Bill took a few snaps along with some video (after the jump), including a brief speech by WVCDL president Keith Morgan. He even managed to locate and document the lone Manchin supporter who was on hand, too . . .

that’s some nice looking MK VII ball ammo, it’s a shame it’s in such short supply these days.
Looks like some of the good India stuff if you can get it from the 70s or earlier it is great ammo! I love the 303 in got some head stamped 1933 still goes bang every time....
Yet they keep putting the worst people in the Senate.
It's criminal that senators have 6 year terms. The peoples' say-so to their own senators is severely limited when terms are that long.
I don't know when Foo Manchu is up again, sad to say I think his 6 years are ahead of him.

You are already doing part of it. Use the new media (such as freerepubic), tout the new media, point out the lies in the old media, do your own facebook, twitter, and blog(if you can), learn if you can’t.
One of the best things you can do is go on MSM news articles and contradict them with facts and figures and logic in the comments. If I see a site that does not allow comments, I am pretty sure it is propaganda.
Yes, it takes trouble and some effort to sign up to some sites. I find that many will accept facebook as a way to sign in.
If you do not want to be bothered with ads and spam, create another email account for this purpose.
Someone once said: “The worst mistake a man can make is to know that he can only do little, and therefore does nothing.” In the media, everything is additive. Your comments and posts count.
