There are some cultural distinctions to consider as well, yesterday I was reading a blog post from a Southern lady and teacher who mentioned that in her district a good many of the teachers were men and veterans. My guess is that the Sandy Hook teachers were vetted for gender and Political Correctness. My opinion of the PS system still stands its broken beyond belief.
