Why are the cops in the courthouses?

I dunno - that's where the best doughnuts are? What does that have to do with ending the WoD?

My wife was an elementary teacher for decades and got to validate her guesses as to the potential bad actors by reading about their encounters with the Judicial System in the news a decade or so after they went through the school.

Many are apparently identifiable to some degree in Kindergarten.

The WOD thing would just be something for the cops in schools to do while they're are deterring mass killers.

Schools have long been compared to prisons and factories. Inculcating the little tykes to a police state tends to replace the parental discipline of the 50's that has since been lost and prepares them for the NWO of 0bama.

Our local ISD has a cop at every middle and high school every day and one who rotates between 4 or 5 elementary schools every day. This has been the case for years. No doubt they’ll be more outward looking now as well.

What exactly would the cops be doing? Bludgeoning teacher-identified "potential bad actors" into good citizenship?

I don’t think we need “armed guards” per se. But teachers willing to pack. I’ll still vote for the idea to tweak the libs.

I think armed security professionals in the school are a great idea. Actually, some of the taxpayers money that goes to the vast redundant federal educational programs can pay for it. School districts also need to have a plan and drills, just like fire drills, so everyone knows what to do. They could have a different sounding alarm for an attack.

Rather than raise the costs of schools, a better course is to purge the Yankee liberal states from the American Republic. throwing out the garbage is preferable to screwing with the schools in normal states

"retired Corrections Officers who are fully weapons trained who say they would gladly spend a day a week at the school in return for nothing more than a free meal from the school cafeteria."

Uh, they may wish to rethink the value and lure of getting a Wookie Lunch.

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

NO I DON'T! Such individuals are state paid and require health insurance and pensions..and normally there is only one such individual on site.

Teachers carrying concealed will be all the deterrent necessary to stop these murders......

“FREEP THIS POLL! The overwhelmingly leftist media spin machine is trying to play this one off as the NRA eating children. In reality, I think La Pierre’s solution, while a good start, needs to go farther by allowing teachers or administrators to be armed as well.”
............................

We can’t afford armed dedicated guards in every school unless they can multi-task and serve other functions such as teaching. These occurrences are fortunately as rare as a lightning strike. A guard would typically grow old and die waiting to defend from such an event.

We need to eliminate gun free zones and permit well trained and vetted teachers and others to be permitted to be armed in schools. Additionally each school must have its own procedure to use the PA System, etc and/or other methods to notify all others that they are under attack.

It was a huge disappointment that Mich Governor Snyder did not sign the bill that would have allowed it in Michigan, and instead kowtowed to the same elite who run the media and want society disarmed and turned into subjects.
