Death penalty? I don’t get it yet. They’re not explaining just what happened, just that they may’ve tried to get money - I suppose insurance fraud?

Doesn’t sound like any murder was intended. Stupid idiots, for sure, but not sure if this is more than “manslaughter” or what I think in school we called “3rd degree murder”, which was incidental and accidental in this case (I think).

Of course they sound like immoral dolts. Never surprised when I see someone is shacking up with another.

Just heard these evil idiots replaced a digital thermostat with a slide switch thermostat that would create a spark and left the gas open on the fireplace. They had it set to a timer.

Geesh, all that for 300 thousand dollars of insurance money.
