One day in the early-1990s, a liberal co-worker of mine told of how he and his (liberal) wife were watching a comedian on some cable channel, whose topic was "having sex with people who don't bathe". The two of them became so disgusted by this monologue, by this alleged "humor," that they turned the TV off. But soon after, they both had feelings of guilt .... "We felt like we were censors!"
