(From CTD email) Cheaper Than Dirt! recently announced that it was temporarily suspending online sales of firearms pending a review of its order processing and procedures. Well-known for its ability to process and ship orders within 24 hours, online sales have skyrocketed to a point where it may take up to 72 hours for firearms and other items to ship.
"In light of recent events, we believe it is prudent to review our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the products and firearms our customers demand," said Chief Operations Officer Roberta Wilson. "We will resume online sales once we update our process and continue as we have always done by shipping firearms only to FFL dealers."
Ms. Wilson closed with, "As a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment, we will continue to serve the needs of the firearms community while ensuring our unsurpassed level of quality and customer service."
(My highlighting.)
Does that mean they will not keep customer lists better for heir holder?
Too bad they didn’t consider the backlash before caving. We’ll find somewhere else for our online purchases. It’s a principal thing.
Check out their Facebook page. Your call for a boycott might be a little too late.

Has anyone been able to find a good source for 30 round C mags at the price they were a month ago (about $10)? That is how much CTD used to have them before jacking them up to $60. Most places now have them up around $30.
this is like dicks sporting goods.
make examples of them to prevent the mob from running crazy.
they selected being the leaders so now they pay the price.
pick a target, isolate it, demonize it, take it out (ecconomically)
same for CNN’s piers morgan.

"Cheaper Than Dirt! doesn't sell guns."
Screw them for caving..I will never buy from them or Dick’s Sporting Goods again.

“Cheaper Than Dirt! doesn’t sell guns.”

Heh... Good!
Roger that.
I'm awaiting the time when I can write them and say, "I've been shopping for X, and I found it on your site for $yyy.yy and on Midway's site for $10 more. I just wanted to let you know I'm buying from them instead of you because of your lack of spine. Please let your Director know of this loss of business, and have a nice day."
when you click on a firearm:
“Adams Arms AR-15 Mid Length Gas Piston Semi Auto Rifle .223 Rem/5.56 NATO 16” Barrel 30 Rounds Flat Top 6 Position Stock RA-16-M-B-556
CheaperThanDirt.com does not sell firearms.”

CTD is still not selling 30 round Pmags.
Check out the price of 30 round pmags on gun broker. Last week you get 30 round pmags for $12.00 now they are $40 and up on gun broker and it looks like people are buying them at that price.
Looks like they’re having trouble with their site.
Good.
If they mess up the paperwork on an order it could have huge ramifications for their business and even lead to jail time for the people involved.
I don’t blame them from wanting to get it right. They may sell some cheap crap and take advantage of buyers but I don’t begrudge them this.
It’s still showing the “Cheaper Than Dirt! doesn’t sell guns.” message but the gun links below the message seem to work. They really need to remove that message. Anyway, thanks!
Exactly so. I was on their site shopping for a new varminter when that cropped up. I spent that chunk o' change elsewhere and I'll not be back. This weasly email they sent out today is weak tea. Apparently management doesn't know to s4!+ or go blind what with the conflicting advice of their lawyers and accountants. Let 'em rot.
There are never enough links!
