But they are ruins because one dark in the eighth century Lindisfarne's rock and walls were scaled by Vikings holding their swords in their mouths. Not all of the ruins would be from the Viking raid of AD 793. The monastery was re-established about 300 years later but abandoned when King Henry VIII closed the monasteries in the 1530's.

"Here's a word of advice cupcake. It's never a good idea to walk into a bank with a gun." I disagree.

It always annoys me that I have to disarm myself when going into a bank, after all it's when I'm carrying cash in or out that I'm a target and at the same time most defenseless.
Law enforcement personnel, including ex-cops, could also be the target of retaliation at any time. They should not have to disarm.
If I can carry on the street, why can't I carry in the bank or post office, as long as I don't attempt to rob the place.

From the article:
So for once why can't some hapless school administrator call them in? Ask them what they would do to keep these children safe? Their children safe. And then heed what they say.
Do what they say.
Oh, good Lord no! I have had to deal with the people that educate the educators (read School of Education). Those people would
tell you what to do, not ask.
I suspect a large percentage of their students learned that attitude.

Miniter's key:
Education today is run by a huge gaggle of (mostly feminist) women who haven't a clue about safety and security, much less the ability to defend their charges in a life-and-death situation; but who insist on controlling policy and shutting out icky men who do know and can help.
Liberalism as a whole is like a ballroom full of passengers on the Titanic who refuse to listen to ship's officers and crew and go up to the boat deck, but go on dancing and socializing as if nothing were wrong.

Brilliant article.
I confess that I have never heard of Lindisfarne. I am glad that I have heard of it now.
I believe that Concealed Carry by any teacher or school employee (and cleared parents, etc.) must be part of the answer. If 20% of the adults had been carrying, this particular killer would likely have come into contact with one or two of them before he had time to kill as many unmolested.
