ABC News Anchor Sam Donaldson Arrested For DUI In Lewes

A former network reporter was recently arrested for DUI here at the beach.

Former ABC News political reporter Sam Donaldson was pulled over on Savannah Road by Lewes Police on December 1 for a traffic violation. An officer says that he’d been drinking. Donaldson failed field sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He’s been scheduled for a court appearance at a later date.

Wasn’t Donaldson the reporter who got a Federal Grant to raise sheep(in New Mexico)for the mohair in US military uniforms. Even though the military hasn’t used mohair since WWI.

That’s ridiculous. I remember driving from FL to DE while in the military. I thought it odd that I was paid with tax dollars, then taxed myself. Then driving on roads my taxes helped make, I was made to pay to use them. The government has quite the racket going.

Driving in DE has been notorious for decades, at least! Anyone driving from DC to Rehoboth knows not to exceed the speed limit by 5 mph. But DRUNK driving? If Sam drank and drove, I’m glad he was stopped. And ticketed.
