They instinctively know that government is the most murderous force on earth, and their instincts are correct:

1. Governments have murdered 262 million of their own citizens since 1900
2. The overwhelming majority of those murders were perpetrated by Socialist/Communist/Marxist regimes

There’s that and then there’s liberals buying guns b/c they want theirs before Barry bans them. In the former case its about true Americans preparing. In the later its all about them all the time, rather like their paragon Barry Soetoro. Liberals like guns too, their problem w/ them is you can own them.
