Your post sounds like you are too close to this situation and you made the hairs on my neck stand up. Get some help!
Empathy is not pathological.
If my post made you walk a few feet in the shoes of a kid living in a pressure cooker home, good. There are too damn many of those kids, and too many adults who refuse to notice the realities of young lives.
