Where I live the gun departments at both Cabela’s and Bass Pro were packed.
The sales people were saying it was Black Friday all over again. We did our part to help.
That’ll work.
Never shopped at Dick’s, so I can’t boycott them.
Regardless, I will continue to do business with the local mom-and-pop gun store whom I’ve patronized for years.
The store is appropriately named.
Can anybody tell me why we can get pictures of the crime scene in Benghazi, but cannot get one freaking photo of the “broken window” at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT?
Bueller? Bueller?
There is Dicks Sporting Goods at the Danbury Mall near where the shooting took place and only a couple a minutes from where I live. I never bought much from them but now I will boycott them for sure. I go to the local gun shop where I live. They have a better selection and are more knowledgeable than anyone at Dicks.
“Gander Mountain from now on”
When I was in Gander Mountain and ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and bullets the cashier said, “Strip down, facing me”.
Making a mental note to complain to the manager about the gun registry people running amok, I did just as she had instructed.
When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to the correct insertion of my credit card.
I have since been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
One thing about this tragedy is it is showing what organizations and leaders stand for. It is letting us know who will fold under the slightest pressure and who will stand firm on principles.
Dick isn’t always a diminutive for Richard!
Dicks sucks.
Boy, am I glad I didn’t buy my rifle from these clowns.
Their prices are horrible, their selection is even worse, and even their job recruiters are snotty. And now this!
It’ll be fun watching my local GOP radio water-carrier, Glen Meakem, try to spin this. Dick’s has been one of his sponsors for quite a while.
Good news for Cabela’s!
Eff 'em.
I used to shop at Dick’s for athletic shoes and other workout clothes, and once actually bought some .22 rounds there, but never again. I just sent them an email telling them that I will no longer do business with them and that I was cutting up my Dick’s ScoreCard Rewards card. So long, capitulators to tyranny.
I’ll make sure the local store knows why they won’t be seeing me again.
well... if they don’t wanna sell, then i don’t wanna buy from them. i’ll do cabellas or someone else, where my business isn’t a dirty word
I’m planning to purchase a new handgun on Thursday (my day off). From what I’ve heard, though, ALL the gun stores in suburban Pittsburgh where I live have had their inventories wiped clean after both Black Friday & this past weekend. That’s good news, although it may limit my selection!
Can’t beat cash and carry at a gun show.
They are a bunch of leftist tools.
