I wish DeMint wouldn't have put himself down the way he did in his statement...not once, but twice.
This was really uncomfortable to read from someone I admire.

Well, he's just acknowledging reality - as a white male member of the privileged elite racist WASPy warmongering woman-hating Wall Street-loving class, 90% of what he says is automatically disregarded by a lot of voters the GOP message needs to reach.
Maybe Scott will only be disregarded by 85%...
