Bushmaster designed for military and LEO use? Really? Our local cops carry selective-fire Armalite rifles in .223. Bushmaster makes a bulk of their money from semi-auto sales to law-abiding civilians.

Also, the Glock used in this incident was a Glock 21/30 in 10mm, NOT the 9mm Glock 26 pictured here.

5 rounds per second?! With a subcompact?!

Seems like you’d get a degree of bouncing around trying to shoot that rapid as well. The mechanism itself would seem to prevent that rapid of a sequence.

.223 seems like a very small round. A rifle is often used for distance shooting, and it seems it wouldn’t be all that stable since it’s so lite.
