Nonsense. Actually, without going into details, I am VERY well trained in the tactical use of firearms.

I assume by “locked access” you mean teachers have them locked in a drawer. Most teachers I know would not want to have anything to do with this, let alone taking them home at night.

As am I...to your first response.

To your second, if the parents entrust the well being of their children every day in school with the teachers/administrators, why would they not trust a teacher/administrator, carrying a concealed weapon, to protect their children if need be (using deadly force)?

The issue is not one of trust (although I suspect a lot of parents would not want firearms around their children,,,they trust teachers to educate them etc, not to defend them). It is rather what works. If teachers/administrators, volunteers...whatever have the freedom of movement to do the job effectively, I have no problem.A lot of teachers by the nature of their jobs do not, and I highly doubt you would ever get teachers to agree to have all teachers in a school armed, which is what it would take under your plan.
