Sunday
I learned about the massacre at Sandy Hook elementary school while we were setting up at Fox News to tape Cavuto on Business. The news was so horrible that we all felt as if we had lost our legs and could no longer stand. It was such horrible news that it simply turned the world upside down.
It still is that kind of news, and its incredibly depressing about the nature of humanity. And my wife and I pray all day for the souls of those dear children and for the peace, if there ever will be peace, of their families and for the souls of the adults and the peace of those who knew and loved them.
As usual, the smartest comment about the whole subject came from John R. Coyne, Jr. There is evil in the world. Its beyond mental illness, beyond gun control. It is evil.

You're not blessed--you're deluded.
Let's think about this statement logically:
Your whole outlook/viewpoint/belief system is very inconsistent and illogical. Since you cannot seem to make up your mind as to what it is that you do believe, you cannot actually believe anything. Because of that, you fall for the easiest belief that you can find--one that just so happens to allow you to do/think/say/believe anything you want without consequences. It's pretty much the definition of arrogance.
Heck—even your tagline contradicts your post #37.
Thank you, it certainly feels like I’m blessed, so I’ll go with that.
The judges are on earth and when it comes to being blessed, I’m the judge of that.
I’ve told you a number of times, not just this thread, what I believe.
Please explain
If God is merely watching how we progress as a race, then He has no involvement in day-to-day activities. If we're just an experiment to see the outcome, then He doesn't care what goes on.
Or maybe He's just a spectator, rooting for one group over another? Since, as you say, we don't know the mind of God, how do we know whether things are going the way He wants or not? Maybe He's just standing back and watching. If things don't go His way, he'll just erase this universe and start again.
Everything happens as God wants it to, otherwise, things would be different.
How do you know things aren't different?
I didn’t say He has no involvement. His involvement is the individual breath of life we receive at our creation. Within that breath, is the plan He has for each of us.
As I’ve said, I do not know.
I don’t think we get to know that. Doesn’t really matter if things are or aren’t different, does it?
