Andrew McLaughlin a former member of President Obama's senior White House staff, who served as Deputy Chief Technology Officer of the United States, mocked Nancy Lanza, the murdered mother of the Newtown, CT massacre killer Adam Lanza, on Twitter Saturday evening:
"The ever-brilliant Jo Miller nails it: "Thank god Nancy Lanza had a personal arsenal for her protection, or she might not be alive today.""

Liberal wit, how it shines, like a diamond in a goats ass.
You see they are making fun of our incessant refrain of “if only XXXXXX had a gun”.
We have to remember it’s not a cure-all. Things don’t always go by our ideal scenarios. Personally I think having a decent German Shepherd is the best for preventing crimes at all, but even I know that a nut bent on destruction would probably chance the alarm and the bites and just shoot the dog.
Thank God we got liberals wanting to ban guns because when all guns are banned that will stop mass murder like this....

What kind of audience are pr#%@ks like this playing to? ‘Cause disgusting comments like this aren’t winning any converts.
That is a good point!
Tremendous pic and let us not forget that friends of the unconstitutionally elected admitted foreign born communist currently posing as our President are already calling for citizens to be locked up who oppose him.
The single mistake people make when it comes to tyranny is thinking “Oh it can’t happen here”. They ignore all the signs until it is too late, and lately we have been getting one hell of a lot of those signs. Even today, I live in New York city and Despot Bloomberg announced he is banning smoking in apartments. A legal product in the privacy of your own residence, the state dictates how you will conduct yourself. I don’t smoke, but that is just one more example of how it starts very small, very tiny changes, then it moves onto bigger things once they see what they can get away with.
Well she should have kept her personal arsenal away from her unstable son at least. She and 26 others would be alive today if she had (or at least until he turned 21 and could buy a gun for himself).
No doubt about that at all.
AFAIK, at 18 you can buy a long rifle. That was the main weapon used; or so I heard on the radio last night at 2 a.m.
Every time a liberal idiot tells me that we should ban guns, my response is “you mean like the War on Drugs”? That usually shuts them up pretty quickly.
Has anyone wondered just why that shooting in the Oregon mall only resulted in 2 deaths?? Well, there was a hero involved who does NOT meet the agenda of the Drive By’s:

It frustrates me to not have seen this story until now.
Thank you very much for posting the article.
The Left keeps it simple and shallow, reducing everything to the urgent need for action (preferably whatever will enrich them financially and give them more power).
Articles circulating today are saying she took him to shooting ranges and taught him how to shoot.
We still don’t know exactly what his mental issues were, but certainly Mrs. Lanza is not coming off as the brightest bulb here.
Still doing my best to give her the benefit of the doubt.
She is not able to explain her story - to defend herself.
We do know he was very intelligent.
She may have had everything locked up - but he was a 20 year old adult and perfectly capable of searching around for keys.
When news of that shooting hit the airwaves I admit I wondered, "why only 2 deaths?".
This news really needs to be spread. The fact that a CC holder confronted the perp, stopping his little moment of infamy without having to ever fire a shot should be common knowledge. The media is a sad joke.
