Actually, I predicted this a year ago in one of my posts. It spoke of the Godless atheistic cult and going through tough times like today. During the Great Depression people relied on God and family, we don’t have that now.
We have an empty existence with hate and violence and boys being told not to run and jump so they get put in a ADD drug induced straight jacket. This will increase as Obamanomics continues to make people more and more desperate.

You’re right, it’s very rare around here. Fairfax County has over 1 million people today and this was the first officer shot in the line of duty in its history, which dates back to 1741.
Just got back from church—have to chime in.
It’s not just the mentally ill. It’s the human race. We are all insane without a relationship with God.

Mankind evolved too fast, and our brain grew so rapidly, evolutionally-wise, that there are thousands of builtin anomalies and quirks that render most of us insane or borderline insane. And the hundreds of thousands of years of living and evolving in small bands of hunter/gatherers has only been recently surplanted by an agricultrally based urban society that puts us in close, panic level proximity to too many strangers, thus stripping away our humanity and exposing our savageness. In other words, we’re still blood-thirsty chimpanzees in too small and crowded a cage.
Still, I believe in God, and the evil that lurks the World, until such time as He returns, and that evil and evil men shall always be with us as long as Satan reigns o’er the Earth. We are not of and for this world, as the Lord Jesus said. Think, while Christmas is Nigh, upon the meaning of His birth.
Killing by firearm could be eliminated if the following was done:
1. Revert our way of life to the technology of 12th Century Europe (not China, as they had gunpowder by that time).
2. Confiscate every single gun, rifle, pistol, revolver, musket, cannon, blunderbus and arquebus. This includes ALL military and police weapons, world-wide. Melt them down.
3. Kill all armorers and any one who knows how a gun is used, manufactured, produced, etc. Destroy all records of their existance and scour libraries and bookstores for any and all references to firearms. Burn them. Then kill those who ordered and carried out the scouring, melting and burning.
4. Make it illegal to own salt peter, sulfur and charcoal, especially powdered varients of same.
Anything else?
Perhaps do away with steel, iron, and only allow metals made of bronze. Glocks have plastic parts, too. Ban plastic.

Boehner said negotiating tax rates going up on those making over 1 million. He should be proposing a wealth tax on all those who spoke out for higher rates, give up everything except for $250k, let them live like they want everyone else to. There’s no way the economics of raising tax rates helps the economy.
Interesting! Saw a post that a video exists of the police removing a “rifle” from the preps car. Reports say children killed with a “.223”. Other say a hand gun. Will we ever know the facts in this case?
Personally, I believe that Man is still coming to grips with the impact of technology on their lives.

I agree with you, and the speed of the change leaves us all very vulnerable to horrors that were unimaginable a century ago.
Your right, health care insurance is going to be like taking a mortgage out, about $400 a month if not employer subsidized. Then if you actually apply for a mortgage, the bank will have too see if there’s enough left over. It’s going to be a budget shock/nightmare for everyone.
