Sorry I posted a duplicate.

Late night I posted this photo and was asked a couple of times if it is rear. apparently so.

As I posted on another thread, the shooter was described in many articles as a “gamer”.

The GOP is going to have to frame this as a “mental health” and “gamer” issue to fight off gun control.

Nancy Lanza legally owned a Sig Sauer and a Glock, both handguns of models commonly used by police, and a military-style Bushmaster .223 M4 carbine, according to law enforcement officials who also believe Adam Lanza used at least some of those weapons.

Nancy Lanza was an avid gun collector who once showed him a “really nice, high-end rifle” that she had purchased, said Dan Holmes, owner of a landscaping business who recently decorated her yard with Christmas garlands and lights. “She said she would often go target shooting with her kids.”

Why can’t we blame Tanantino and “Banjo Unchained”?

Maladjusted goth kid who was coddled by PC psychologists afraid to call a freak a freak. I have a in-law nephew like this. Yep, he’s really smart, has no friends, and a twitch. He coolly asks for a check for Christmas, so he can buy a better device with which to tune out the real world. And no, his family doesn’t observe any faith. They’re proud, secular, humanists. Probably a lot like Adam Lanza’s parents. These kids are out there, and damn easy to spot.

I can’t believe people are posting from the Daily Mail. They are known mainly for posting articles showing fannies and breasts of the latest plastic surgery of so called celebrities to keep them in the news.

It’s not unusual that the left seizes on this tragedy to urge `throwing the baby out with the bath water.’ They do it every time.
There are 300 million Americans and about 90 million responsible gun owners. About half the country sees the Bill of Rights as negotiable. I don’t have the citation for those figures but believe they are close.
A handful of Americans with mental problems meet irresponsible gun owners and a perfect storm results. Those are the problems right there: mental disease and irresponsibility. Liberalism is a mental disease and liberals—by definition—are irresponsible, fiscally and morally.
If the left wants a cataclysmic storm (def. a momentous and violent event marked by overwhelming upheaval and demolition; broadly: an event that brings great changes) they can keep banging their little drums.
`Gun control’ isn’t about guns. It’s about control. We all know that. And just as Mr. Day-oh! urges his Lord and Savior to jail conservatives, there are many of us who believe liberals should be (clearing throat) controlled.

Thanks for bringing us together, pResident Obama! Rant over.

The GOP is going to have to frame this as a “mental health” and “gamer” issue to fight off gun control.

Asperger_syndrome
The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, and sertraline have been effective in treating restricted and repetitive interests and behaviors.[1][2][48]

Sedative side-effects in school-age children[93] have ramifications for classroom learning. Individuals with AS may be unable to identify and communicate their internal moods and emotions or to tolerate side effects that for most people would not be problematic.[94]

It was not the guns, but the un-managed pharmaceuticals

I’ll say one thing, Dad sure did a GREAT JOB of climbing the corporate ladder. Fantastic - lives in a multimillion dollar home with his new hottie.

Meanwhile, I wallow away at ground level with my kids.

...and would I trade places with him...LOL

Where did the shooter get the first gun that he used to kill his mother? Did his mother lock up her guns properly? If not, she certainly should have kept those guns locked up securely considering the severity of her son's mental problems. Lanza's mother may have enabled this massacre by not locking up her guns securely.

Regarding Mayor Bloomberg's comments: If the killer had instead stolen a UPS delivery truck and killed 26 people by driving it into a classroom, would Bloomberg be calling for tighter controls on commercial trucks? Of course not...instead he's be calling for improved mental health programs and more research into drugs to help mentally ill people. It's so obvious, but I'll say it again: If we make ownership of guns illegal, then only criminals will own guns and criminals of course do not follow the law and will use their guns to terrorize and slaughter the disarmed law-abiding people. Enough said...now settle down Bloomberg and try some logical thinking for a change. Possibly we need a way to prevent mentally-ill people from buying guns, but that has to be done very carefully with a strict definition of who is really mentally ill.

There it is...

When people who play Mario Kart start tossing banana peels all over the roads, and kids who play Farmville start cutting down forests and cultivating land all over the place, then perhaps I’ll think video games play a role.

Sure, if they want to lose. I’m a gamer - does that mean I’m going around shooting up people?

When it’s dark, we flip the light switch and the problem is solved. When we’re hungry, we go microwave a hot pocket and eat in two minutes. We want a quick and easy answer to this, and there isn’t one. You want the real solution? Put all the kids in individual bulletproof bubbles. Then, you have to have bigger classrooms. Oh, and somebody has to pay and we’re already broke. The Democrats know that gun control is not the solution. When Bloomberg opens his fat yap on the day of this tragedy to advocate gun control, then what he proves is he hasn’t done any analysis. He’s just running his fat yap for political purposes.
I grew up a liberal Democrat. I even argued for gun control. I don’t anymore. I rely on reason now instead of trite emotional statements.
I saw the American military armored fighting vehicles being used against American citizens at Waco, Texas. That was a Democrat controlled government operation. How many kids did Slick Willy kill there? They knew it was a risky operation, but they did it anyway. Their statement of intent was more important than childrens lives. Nope. I worry way more about Democrats than I worry about one insane individual. We should worry more about Democrat control.

Wow. I learned more in one place from that article than from anything from the U.S. press.

It is really sad that we have to go to the UK for decent news these days.

Please tell me it wasn’t because of “bullying”! If all guns were banned, these sorts of head cases would use explosives, chlorine gas, architectural sabotage. Guns are the least lethal way to kill people. Once you run out of ammo, a gun is no longer lethal. You have to aim and shoot acurately for it to work. With a shoelace or a knife and some patience, a serial killer can kill an unlimited number of people.

The picture of Adam Lanza looks like he had Graves disease, which included psychiatric symptoms. I don’t know how anyone could miss it, the eyes are a dead give away.

Look up Graves disease in Wikipedia.
