“Too many men are sooooo girly it makes me want to hurl. I LOVE manly men. Unfortunately, the ones I meet are already taken =(. “

Single ones are out there but they live in the wilderness in hollow logs, even in cities. Also, some of them only really man up in the catalyst of a grown up relationship when they can no longer avoid it. This Peter Pan died hard.

HARD!

I tell women who are looking to not underestimate self employed tradesmen. Plumbers, electricians, contractors etc. They work for a living, do not even know what magical thinking is far less indulge it, and understand what a contract is and typically respect them (and require carry through by the other party).

Those men you stated are the ones I like......taken!

Because of circumstances in my upbringing, I was in no way shape or form to commit to a marriage, let alone children in my younger years.

I am now 42. It took a long time to learn what I was not taught and to “undo” things that were taught.

I am looking to escape Satans armpit (NY). Either PA or SC. I do not fit in here.

Long Island used to be the ultimate in suburbia....no longer the case. The 5 boroughs are moving in like cockroaches.

My cousin, who lives upstate NY is trying to get me to move up there. He wants me to buy my Aunt & Uncles house across the “street” from him. We went up on Labor Day and spent a few nights. I LOVED IT!

It is SO me! However, the employment there is non-existent. I’d still be in NY, however, up there is totally different from down here.
