I remember, as a boy, I “dood it”, and I “got it”. “Dood it” no more.

I remember when I was in Basic Training, and they could touch you (gasp), but I didn’t “dood it”, but some did ... THEY “got it”, but became better for it.

Agree with the basic premise of the article (moral decay in society, breakdown of the family, rejection of God in the classroom....etc), however, it has been reported that Adam Lanza was “Autistic”, or had mental problems by his older brother.

Assuming that is true, could this boy have been at greater risk of committing this crime because of added factors involving a combination of prescriptive drugs? This is not, in any way intended to offend any parent who has bravely cared for an autistic child. However, in the past 30 years, the use of prescriptive drugs for treatment of everything from “ADD” to other “labels” applied to every childhood behavior has skyrocketed.

Certain anti-depressants have been correlated to increased risk of violence and suicide. Exposure to our modern culture in combination could further increase these risks.

Just curious as to whether Adam Lanza was medicated and if so, what he was prescribed.

When I was young kids who were in the ‘gun club’ would carry their weapons to school - and you’d see them in the hallways walking with a rifle... No one ever thought they would shoot their fellow students.

It was a different time.

What made it different?

We’ve had guns in this country since the country was founded. But we haven’t had liberal ‘values’ taught by union teachers. We didn’t have liberal ‘values’ pushed on TV and in movies... And we didn’t have kids drugged out by antidepressants and other brain altering drugs. Mucking with brain chemistry at this time in our understanding is something that should be done with great care.

I believe all of these school killers have been on anti-depressants.

Rampage Shootings: It's the Moral Decay of Society, not Guns

I would say we have more rampage shootings because the media has increased the coverage of such events to push their agenda of gun control.

We've always have had psychos. Now we have psychos watching the increased coverage of the shootings on TV and it makes them more likely to plan and carry out their own.

It should come as no surprise that the rate of mass shootings at schools and in other public places is increasing.

I saw a graphic today on an MSM channel that said that 2012 was the worst year ever for mass shootings. By liberal / MSM logic, since 0bama is President, he is responsible for these mass shootings ("it's all 0bama's fault").

Mr. President - when will you take responsibility for these shootings?

I understand that some video games that are particularly violent are used for training military.

If used for military training, what is it doing for, and to, kids?

Say, were you not the one who said these non-war, U.S. mass shooting events in modern America, of the totally innocent, were common throughout the U.S. history? Did you not suggest these mass shootings were not increasing in frequency and severity?
