Leftists just cannot get it out of their heads that soldiers are unthinking, stupid brutes, who mindlessly obey all orders given to them without question.
This, and soldiers being a captive audience, has long been why leftists have used the military as a test tube for their twisted social experiments.
However, the reality is that soldiers are smart and motivated, and quick to say “BULL****!!” when ordered to do something ignorant, unethical, or self-defeating.
If anything, this will make our military more contemptuous and less trusting of Afghans in particular, which is actually a good thing in this case, as because our screening techniques need work.
And among themselves, if they haven’t become so already, they will become utterly disrespectful of Islam, seeing it as little more than primitive barbarism.
