While I believe no gun control policy could stop mass shootings like this and therefore calls for more gun control in order to stop these massacres are in vain, I have to say I don’t see how the usual response from 2nd amendment activists that “if only an armed citizen could have been there to stop this” can apply here. Who is armed, the teachers? Should we have armed patrols at every school in the country?

All that has to be done is get rid of top heavy administration employees at the main office, and use that money to put an armed guard in each school and that guard is not a 70 yr. old retired guard from a shopping mall. A crack shot guard is what is needed and publicize the hiring as a warning that attackers will be killed. Put a big sign saying that on every campus. Then, kill any SOB who comes with a gun to cause trouble.
