“...Prayers today for everyone affected by this tragedy.”

Amen. How do you go from being onsite witnessing this today to sitting down and having a normal Christmas dinner, New Year's Eve etc. without having it creep into your mind and disrupt your thoughts? Prayers for everyone involved in trying to help or doing their job today.

Hopefully they will have good follow up counseling for survivors as well. Some could be at risk of recurrent PTSD. They are so young.

Good follow up psychological counseling is an excellent idea. Both the surviving small children, the surviving adults who witnessed this and the grieving families whose children are gone, need HELP NOW.

There was a lady on with Meghan today on Fox News whose daughter was murdered at the Columbine school. She said it takes YEARS to ever recover, if you can, from losing your child this way. She struck me as a thoroughly kind and sympathetic woman, who would know how to help those parents who are facing this awful reality.

I hope she or someone like her with their understanding heart, can offer assistance to these grieving families.
