State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

We can beat it, if we push hard enough. The last time this was done, the Democrats controlled the house, and there were 30 million less AR, AK, SKS and similar rifles in the nation.
They have become mainstreamed, and we can use that to keep the insane legislation at bay.
We only need half the house to stop this, and I think we can.
I cringe when I hear tragedies like this..so many why’s & trying to make sense out of things that don’t make sense. I cringe because I believe one day it will be my brother on the news..I know I’ve talked about it a few times here before but all of my family (except for my enabling parents) know my brother is a ticking time bomb but nobody wants to hurt my parents feelings so we all just play nice, trying not to rock the boat. It’s a very sad, frustrating & dangerous situation. I pray for not only the families of the victims and those children/families that witnessed this horror but also to the family of the obviously sick young man that committed these horrific crimes. I pray for his family because I understand what they might’ve been dealing with & now the unbelievable, inevitable has happened.

I don't know what is wrong in our little state. But people, in general have been on edge. This economy doesn't help...it's somewhere 10% here...not that this is an excuse...for outlandish behavior.
And extreme femininity means the death of society. Look at Europe and Japan as examples. They are dying demographic deaths.
Islam preaches extreme masculinity, and they are taking over Europe by outbreeding the natives.
Within autism is an entire spectrum of other disorders as well. There is the same range of IQ’s, and other issues as in the “normal” population.

Well, hell, here it is the weekend and we're not speculating on general's concubines (... as the formerly capitalistic free enterprise system gleefully mutates into central control with the support of the media, and God forbid, the stupid party). Don't for a moment think that the backrooms aren't up to armpits with plans and plots to assuage this sad event to any advantage. Sadly, politics has already been applied to this tragedy, the extent of which most can't fathom; behold The One telling us to put politics aside. Um.
I'm a parent. I can't imagine the horror these families face. Lord have mercy.
We may never know, [especially from this quintessential *quiet* Norman Rockwell community], was this mother/teacher under some stress at school?...if she was, this isn’t a New Haven/Hartford/Bridgeport school full of social misfits and all their attending problems...if the mom was stressed, why did son go to *her* classroom and kill all the children? Was he protecting her from stress....we may never know.

This tragedy made me think at first...Israel goes through their children being killed so many times by terrorists.I wonder how long WE would put up with that.
And why did he kill the principle and psychologist?
was this kid on anti depressents??? they said he had mental issues...there is a connection between anti-depressents and sucide and mass killings
