Hope for a reversal is just that HOPE. The dwindling power of the conservative American in the political scene is evident that if America ever comes back it will because of a civil war. And if the military supports King Obama, all is really lost. Add that the huge portion of GOP are worthless wimps, reality must be faced.

The Left uses the rule of law and the Constitution only when it serves their purposes. We have to realize that the Constitution is dead, especially with 0-care. There is no rule of law that applies to our political masters, no Constitutional republic and we cannot restore the republic through the political process via incrementalism or other conventional means.
We need to let the system collapse, but also create some type of organized alternative structure to oppose the hard Leftist tyranny that will fill vacuum during the period of anarchy to come. I know one thing, if the collapse occurs, the organized structure will definitely not be the GOP.
Good grief, no it doesn’t. We just saw Michigan pass right to work, an Illinois court just ruled some of that state’s restrictions on guns to be unconstitutional, Virginia is in the process of dumping card check, and conservative Republicans picked up seats in state legislatures and governourships across the country.
It’s just at the national level where the GOP can’t get its head out of the sand. And even then, Obama just barely squeaked back in, and that on the back of vote fraud.
This is the time to get busy about defeating the Left. This is NOT the time to chicken little like a bunch of pansies.
I would guess that at least 40% of this country's inhabitants aren't idiots or else permanent vassals of the State.
It is we who now need to organize, just as the other side has - from the bottom, up. We also could use a leader to help spread a coherent message of liberty and the potential of American Renewal from the top, down.
And: we need to get our children the hell out of the mind-numbing, life force-draining Socialist International Indoctrination Centers that our public schools have become. Home schooling is one answer, but it is clearly not for everyone. Other alternatives to public "education" are clearly required. I've got some ideas along those lines, and I'm working on them.
Political parties are not the answer, either. The GOP has proven itself useless as a means of resisting the increasingly radical assaults on our freedom. Too many of its leaders quite evidently value their careers and elite lifestyles above abstract notions like "liberty" and "limited constitutional government".
No. It's going to be up to us - the citizens who still give a damn about freedom and are willing to fight for it, no matter where that decision leads - and I use these words advisedly: no matter what must be done. People like Bill Ayers, Barack Obama, Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, and John Holdren rule our lives because we have come to depend on people who have no real intention of ever stopping them.
I'll give you all one parting hint: if you want to stop people from stealing your liberty, you first need to stop facilitating their power and control by no longer recognizing their authority. That's correct: we need to start breaking more laws, more frequently. Including - no, especially - the Federal tax code. That's just for starters. Because when the law is set against honorable people, honorable people must become outlaws.
In the meanwhile: join your local Tea Party affiliate. Stop patronizing the poisonous mainstream media and instead find the many alternative information sources (still) available. It will be a long, hard struggle. But the first step is knowing not to give up before the battle is over. The truth is: it hasn't even really been fought yet,

I'm really disapointed in most of these replies.
The Constitution is NOT DEAD. It is we, "the conservatives", that are not reading and following the instructions of the Constitution. The Constitution tells us EXACTLY what to do to preserve and regain our lost liberty. It's found in Article 5.
We must use the power of the states to call a Constitutional Convention.
As little as three amendments or changes to current amendments could return full liberty to ALL of the fifty states.
The left has a HUGE weakness. They simply don't have the numbers to defeat us on a level playing field. This has always been true yet we have failed to exploit it. An Article 5 Convention levels the playing field where the left will be outnumbered three to one.
I encourage all on this thread to do two simple things.
1. Study up on Article 5 of the Constitution. Understand the reason the founders gave the states the option to call a Constitutional Convention.
2. Put up a picture of the red and blue states and precincts from the last election and stare at it frequently.
The answer to "Now what?" will soon be very clear.
