Good point ... and one angle from which to address the psychological problems inherent in dealing with roving ferals. The mentality shown by this mob, unchecked and running around loose, will present decent folk with some really difficult life-and-death decisions.

A roving feral mob doesn’t get diddly but maybe one warning shot as they try to climb over the fence.
Might even take a real shot at the first one with a high power air rifle, just to save ammo, and to give a real sting.
