That is because the person sitting in the office is NOT the OFFICE of the Presidency. There have been some real stinkers who sat in that office, and citizens have every right to voice their opinions of the person in office.
We also have to remember that in this country, the majority rules, he added. Even if you dont agree with the outcome of an election, the majority rules. And I believe it doesnt matter who is in office, you need to respect the office.
He also doesn't seem to understand the concept of the REPUBLIC. America is not a Democracy, so 'majority rule' is not the way of things. Yes, the office should be respected, but if the person IN that political office is acting in a disrespectful manner toward the office, we have an obligation to point that out, whether we're in the political minority or majority.
This man is from my town, but I don't know him personally. I'm sure he got plenty of support from folks around here though, because for the most part, MA went for Obama.

Problem is; Democrats don’t choose to understand what the Republic is, hence we have Democrats and Republicans. So the Democrats do what democracies do; vote themselves gifts from the treasury till the democracy is broke, but in this case, until the republic is broke.
Seems like most of us where I grew up stopped using “majority rules” in a debate along about 5th or 6th grade. Also explains the maturity lacking in the minds of the liberal Democcrats.
