These are among the findings of a quadrennial report, Global Trends 2030: Alternative Worlds, by the National Intelligence Council, which reports to the U.S. director of national intelligence. … The world the council foresees is one in which the United States is no longer a uniquely dominant global power but remains preeminent because of its legacy strengths, its ability to form coalitions and the reluctance of China to assume a global role. …
The world envisioned by the report is one in which Islamist terrorism, following the trajectory of earlier waves of violence from 19th-century anarchists to the New Left in the 1970s, will exhaust itself and ebb. But the tactics of terrorism will persist. And new actors, whatever their motivation, could shift their focus from mass casualties to massive economic disruptions through cyberattacks. …

Sorry about that, but I figured the title itself was enough of a barf alert, due to its sheer absurdity.
My dog just put out his report and he said that izzlamic terrorism would GROW exponentially (his word) in the next 20 years. He also said that cats would never reconcile their differences with dogs.
I have 2 dogs and they were debating this issue also, one saying that middle class is an anachronism (really) and that post-Islamicism is already a hot topic among the intelligencia on the Al Queda lecture circuit, and the big dog saying itdonmatta he still does not want to mess with that rabbit in the yard. I bet my dogs know your dog or at least they stay in touch online.
The same "middle class" that currently conrols places like Yemen and Saudi.
Then, naturally, Islamic terrorism will have subsided/evolved into Islamic rule in North & South America and, once again, in Europe.
Hmmm...Now I'm beginning to think the title makes perfect (although hideous) sense after all...
