I'm unable to confirm this latest development however personal experience says, ya never know. It's a Japanese study, btw, so .. nice marketing angle , you must admit.

Beer can also cure ugliness.
At least temporarily.

“...30 cans of beer to get enough humulone”
I have no doubts that with this amount a cold would be a distant memory, although another orifice may be prone to pick up the runny part.

And secondly, an adult would have to drink about 30 cans of beer to get enough humulone, the compound said to have anti-viral properties. I'll take that as a personal challenge!

a chemical compound in beer can help the human body fight the virus behind the common cold. No wonder I never had a cold when I was in college.

Hops tea is a centuries old treatment for colds. It was used in Europe before Christopher Columbus found America.

You just need to drink an Imperial IPA and you will get a lot of humulone. Remember, hops are a preservative. It’s why the British put all the hops in the beer they shipped to India and thus IPA = India Pale Ale.
On a separate note... the Japanese and Budweiser can keep all their rice beer. Rice when added as an adjunct contributes to different phenolic compounds that always give me a headache!

24 hours in a day, 24 bottles of beer in a case. coincidence.... I don’t think so!!!

So, what’s the downside here?
