I REALLY wish I had been packing heat this morning. I was innocently walking Linda-The-Dog, when she was suddenly attacked by an off-leash pit bull! I had to physically pull the pit bull off Linda by his collar (I am a 60 year old woman), and then he turned on ME, I screamed and let go of the leash, and Linda ran with him away from me and started fighting with him. I screamed as loud as I could and a bunch of neighbors came out and subdued the pit bull (using Linda’s leash) and brought him back to his owners. He wasn’t a vicious dog, and probably just wanted to “Play” but he wouldn’t leave us alone.

He could have been the type of dog that would have killed me or my dog.

You know, if you don't wanna pack a gun on those doggy jaunts (although I do when I walk my aging Newfoundland these days) you might consider one of THESE because they work really well on dogs just by pushing the button and the loud electrical noise, plus they work well if you have to use them but they don't kill.
