The only way to fight back is for parents to detox their " young skulls full of mush" by discussing the issues logically and with common sense at the dinner table..
If they really want to speak about the elephant in the room they need to talk about sensitivity to the environment based upon ethnic views. Living here in Central Virginia there’s lots of places to do an analysis. There’s one stretch of roadside near our place that constantly is covered with trash. I’ve often wondered why this particular location attracts the litter. There are no homes or businesses nearby. My aunt and uncle lived in San Fernando Valley when I was a child. I’ve been back and the place is mostly hispanic and now is covered in trash and graffiti. Is there a relationship between ethnic and liberal/conservative and who trashes their environment? I think so. The liberal view is that government or volunteers will pickup the trash and they are suppose to as part of their contract with individuals.
We care for the evironment. We just don’t worship it.
Its about controlling YOUR behavior...they DON’T care about the environment....
Actually we already care more about the environment than any fascist wearing a green mask. I avoid curly fluorescent bulbs - they are poisonous and dangerous. I favor oil pipelines that promote the health of caribou herds. I favor irrigation that makes California’s central valley lush and green.
My Commie neighbors refer to me as, "a Bleeding-Heart Republican".
...our precious bodily fluids.
OPE, POE, ...
Of course using sound science is out of the question ...
Amen.
Conservatives are far better “environmentalists” than liberals. More of us actually live in rural environments and actually know what we’re talking about.
Now go look at what liberals do, wherever they congregate, The Wisconsin state capitol for instance and now the same thing is happening in Michigan. Liberals are, among other things, nasty pigs, which is actually an insult to pigs, pigs wallow in mud to get cool, liberals do it because it's, well, because they are liberals.
I care about the environment, just not for quack science.
There’s a huge difference between a littered forest, filthy water and air and some putative, unmeasurable .04 C rise in temperature somewhere on earth that’s magically going to kill all the polar bears in Antarctica(sic) and leave us living in desert wastes.
It is the practice of the collectivists to conflate the obvious issues like litter and smog with their pet delusions, the solutions to which somehow put them in charge and increase my taxes.
We're not sitting in some 50th floor suite in NYC feeling holier than thou and preaching of keeping stuff 'pristine' that we have never seen!! We're 'Out There', you useless F__KS!!
This so-called article is so full of crap, I feel like dumping some old motor oil and brake fluid down the storm drain in our street that flows into our little lake! Then to really show 'em -- throwing my can of cigarette butts all over the fricken street!
Natch I won't do that, but a Liberal would, when no one is looking. (not sarcasm)
If I get this right, eco-fascists want conservatives to dump rationality and logic in favor of Hitler’s blut und bolden - irrational, red-hot emotion.
By “caring about the environment” they mean “shut up and do as we say.”
What a surprise! Leftists finally admit that conservatives know leftist arguments are bulldada, so they think the way to persuade conservatives is to lie to them.
Golly. In over a hundred years of progressive, leftist, liberal lies, you would think that finally they have figured out that instead of lying just for the sake of lying, they can lie for a reason.
I care greatly about the environment, and, frankly, find that too many liberals inhabit it.
