Wolves were reintroduced by liberals in an effort to impose gun control. One of the strong arguments for private firearms is that hunting is a more humane way of controlling the ungulate (deer, elk, moose) population than starvation and disease. The liberals could care less about elk and moose. What they want is complete control of all firearms in our country. Liberals don’t have any problem with guns as long as they get to decide who the guns are pointed at. Wolves were reintroduced to reduce the ungulate populations to the point where hunting would have to be stopped. Then, they would start asking what people needed rifles for. They’re clever rats.

Wolves hammer our moose in the winter, bears when they calve in early June. I actually see wolf tracks on my wood lot trail behind the house. We had wolves in our garbage cans 2 years back at 3 in the morning; when I set up game cam, they never came back. I’m the last one that wants all the wolves gone, just need responsible wolf control as the standard of game management. Fed park rangers all say if visitors don’t hear & see wolves; they ain’t doing their job; I want to see moose myself.
