I just read a study conducted by the VA and it says that a whole lot of male soldiers were sexually assaulted over the years but only the womens cases made it into the news.
The number of men sexually assaulted was actually more than that of women but over a longer period. It was somewhere around 22K.

That is very believable. What did they used to say about the British Navy? Wasn’t it “rum, buggery and the lash”. The media might think of young males being assaulted as a dog bites man story.
