look at the church of today. many of the mainstream denominations have gone the way of liberalism - womens ordination, gay leadership, gay marriage - where are these churches going - nowhere.

today’s christian church is being tested in America. the testing will weed out the sheep and the wolves. True Christianity will win out. The problem though is America must go through a purging of its falsely held beliefs. There will be a time of trial and tribulation. The Christian Church of the uSA will go through a purging, and in time the Christian Church of the USA will not be recognizable as the big churches of today. There are many false teachers whom believe bigger is better, similar to a Centralized Government.

Tell Me is Rick Warren’s Church winning people to Christ whom can stand the the time of tribulation weaning out of the chaff from the wheat. I do not believe so. What about Joel Osteen? Where is the Crystal cathedral of California?

Wickedness does not have more power than God. This would be a non-Biblical dualism that both God and the Devil have equal power here on earth. It is man’s easy believism that makes forth weak christians that have been feed only milk toast and no substance when trials and tribulations do appear. I am not saying the rapture, I am saying that the Church will be tested. I strongly believe this will be the testing whereby family members turn against one another, neighbors turn in neighbors for their strong convictions in Christ Jesus.

Sins of Romans 1:18 - 32 are the following (with emphasis of the sins listed in verses):
18 - wrath of God is revealed from heaven on unrighteusness and ungodliness.
21 - Denial of God. unthankfulness, , futile in the actions and deeds, and foolish hearts darkened.
22- wisdom has become folly.
23 - glory of God which is incorruptibe to a corruptible Glory of Man
24 - Therefore God gave them up in their uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts to dishonor their bodies among.
themselves
25 - exchanged the truth of God for a lie. served the creature not the Creator (God)
26 -God gave them up to their evil passions, even their women exchanged what was natural for the unnatural
27 - Men lusting for men.
28 - God not retained. Debasement of man to that which is not fitting.
29 - unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, coveteousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil mindedness, they are whispereres,
30 - backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 - undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful
32- knowing the righteous judgement of God - these people have denied Him, and are deserving of death

Romans 2-16 goes on with God’s Judgement and God’s desire for relationship with the ungodly.

I agree with the general drift of your observation, but I must say that I do not think that it is Biblically correct to use the terms "the church of today," nor "christian church ... in America," nor "the Christian Church of the USA," and the like, where some singular universal, invisible church entity is in view. The existence of such an earthly "church" in the singular as constituted of many local assemblies integrated under one authority over a wide area is an assumption but unprovable, unmentioned, and unwarranted from the Bible. Any such a term is always, always, described as "churches," in the plural.

In the Bible, the singular term "church" always and only refers to one local, independent, autonomous regular assembly of believer-disciples regularly congregating for the Breaking of The Bread in remembrance of His Passion; for baptizing only confessing regenerated believer-disciples (not infants or merely unregenerated convert-believers); for teaching in how to preach the Gospel and to know and keep all the commandments of The Christ watchfully and securely without change -- without rewording, without diminishing, or embellishment; and for exercising unfeigned love of Christ and the brethren. Therefore, of course, you will not find many such churches today meeting these conditions, without careful observation and spiritual discernment.

I do believe the Bible only mentions local, independent, autonomous assemblies (churches) of immersed believers who maintain their identification with/in/of The Christ by faithful Scriptural preaching and teaching, and by church discipline administered by a plurality of elders. The spiritual condition of such a church depends on a continuous training to maturity of disciples by disciplers.

The only (to us) invisible body of The Christ I recognize is the general assembly (paneguis) and church (ekklaysia) of the firstborn (from the dead ones, the Savior) which are written in heaven.

(My assertion here will likely bring the spite of Romanists and Hellenists of this site down on my head, as well as perhaps of a few Baptist/immersionists incorrectly indoctrinated.) That is why the assembly I attend is a local, fundamental, independent immersionist New Testament fellowship.

Remember, Jesus prophesied that in the last days, after the beginning of sorrows, the sovereign preference of the many (hoi polloi) for The Christ, over self and others, would grow cold, because of the abundance of iniquity (Mt. 24:12), which is washing over those calling themselves "Christians" today, as you say, who still associate themselves closely with worldly pursuits.
