Took in a woman looking for a place to stay, once. I was married at the time, decades ago. The boyfriend showed up, used a nasty tool to flatten two tires on her car. I had a .357 and decided that if he forced his way in, I would shoot him.
My wife and I knew them both. Later, I was told that one reason he did not come in was that he knew I had at least one gun, and some training. (I was assigned game warden duties as an extra duty at the time. We supplied our own guns.)
Later on, they made up and married. I said good riddance to both.
Wow! Stupid women. I will never understand women like that....nor feel too sorry for them when they go back to the abusive guy. (Yeah, I know Dr. Phil says there are psychological reasons for doing so, but in my eyes that is all Bravo Sierra)
