Pretty disappointing, if you ask me. If Supermarkets considers people checking out porn or swimsuit models on break not okay, as part of their training, and part of their concern for female employees, someone should be telling me that the concerns for other, higher positions shouldn’t be taken as seriously. I was deferred from serving in the Armed Forces as part of a medical deferral. However, I am disappointed that some in the military don’t have some of the important common sense that doesn’t belong in some of the workplaces we have available.
You should also take into account that our soldiers’ jobs are by their nature more stressful than most civilian jobs. Not just because of the dangers, but also because they often require separation from their spouses or loved ones, as well as obedience to a rigid command structure and 24-hour a day codes of conduct. Soldiers have always enjoyed a little more leeway as to their “workplace environment” because of that.
I’d rather have soldiers that have some outlets to maintain their sanity than try to make them into altar boys.
This report is bogus. You cannot have pinups anywhere. I don’t know which Air Force they are refering too but the US Air Force banned all sorts of images many moons ago.
Something happened a few days ago but no one knows what.
