NEW YORK (MarketWatch) Ever since the Reagan years, America has played a singularly important role in the global economy as its largest net borrower.
Thanks to the shale energy revolution, thats beginning to change. The implications for the dollar are profound.
The U.S. is on track to become the worlds largest oil producer in eight years and the biggest producer of gas in five, according to the International Energy Agency, which projects energy self sufficiency in 25 years. That remarkable turnaround not only shifts the U.S. relationship with the Middle East but, as economists at RBC Capital Markets predicted in recent research note, will reduce energy imports so far that it will shrink the U.S. trade deficit and eventually convert the current account deficit into a surplus. Inevitably, RBC argues, this will provide long-term support for the dollar.

Odungo don’t want the dollar saved, it will never happen
It will not allow the destruction of the American economy that the Cloward and Piven saboteurs want so badly.
This looks like a Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda act to me.
Obama is still pissing away money on green, he doesn’t want America producing oil.
He wants America’s bankruptcy, I doubt he will take this lying down.
It just pisses me off no end that zero gets to enjoy the prosperity the oil&gas industry is providing. Like Krinton benefitted from the .com boom.
The dollar and America need to die for Obama’s globalist plans. Only then can they have their “new world” with the abolition of national sovereignty.
Obama is simply the harbinger for the push for global governance by powerful interest groups.
It’s not even “conspiratorial” anymore, they openly talk about it with the EU and regional blocs as the stepping stones to a global government.
We as a country better get on the ball with expanding energy production.
The Mid East will be going up in flames if things continue the way they are going. That will harm the rest of the worlds economy. Now is the time to gear up for exporting oil, gas and coal to the ones who need it.
That’s all why the EPA will shut down fracking, probably this year.Once you have the enemy nation beginning to crack you have to follow through by preventing supeglue.
