The small, black pig lay dead on its side upon the wooden deck, a deep gash on the side of its belly.
That's what a congregant at the Islamic Outreach Center saw Tuesday evening when he and a handful of other worshippers arrived for nightly prayers. Worshippers also found blood stains near the door of the Harris County mosque.
"It looked like someone was trying to take it inside, but it was locked," said Ilyas Choudry, who helps run the center.
At the end of a news conference on Wednesday about the incident, mosque officials also discovered what appeared to be animal intestines hanging from the facility's front gate.The intestines may have come from the pig, which appeared to be cut open.
Mosque officials believe someone may have left the pig at the Cypress-area center as an act of hate. They called the Harris County Sheriff's Office, which is investigating.

Islam is not a religion so much as it is a totalitarian political system that uses religion as a beard. I am completely against affording it the same considerations as the world’s other religions for this reason, and am in favor of an explicit Amendment delisting it as a religion for the purposes of 1A protections.

Just curious on where your thought process was, you railed against Islam but proposed no solution. On the surface, your stance appeared to support the pig incident.
BTW, what in my posts caused you to construe that I either support or advocate Islam? Hardly naive or ignorant regarding Islam and it's precips....
In fact, rather informed having spent several years in some middle Asia Islamic countries..... Didn't just read about it, lived amoung them as a “infidel”.....I have no illusions as to it's evil nature.

Accurate is the forced conversion to Islam. If you don't want to be a Christian, you have every right not to do so. Throwing a dead pig on the grounds of mosque is NOT an approved way to promote Christianity, by the way.
The violent attacks against humans have been from the Islamic side, thank you.
Your ship might be on the way down. Islam has no defense at all at present or historically. Those who throw pigs heads/carcasses on mosque grounds also have no defense because that is inappropriate behavior. When people kill people who have a religious difference with them (i.e. Islam), then wars get started. Very foolish.
Should I person who throws a pig on the mosque grounds be executed?
Should a person who draws an insulting image of mohammed be executed?
Should a person who burns a Bible be executed?
Should a person who holds up a sign that says that those who insult mohammed should killed be executed?

,,,from what I see by the comments posted on this thread the majority of folks here share my same sediments regarding the religion of peace . Most have little cause to be tolerant with a religion which shows absolutely NO TOLERANCE to other religions . On the same day they worship they are willing to kill innocent people who they refer to as infidels .
