No. Just don't want my FRiends to get in trouble with the law.
I wonder. Could you also get in trouble if you made arrangements to meet someone in Nevada to make a private sale?
I agree fully. I held out in CA for as long as I could but as the tag line says...
I used to volunteer in the campaigns, I wrote letters to the editors, argued futilely with liberal friends, contributed hundreds over the years to a Republican Party that I watched turn from the Party of Reagan to the party of Meg Whitman, etc., etc. Finally I just got fed up and left - taking my tax dollars with me and leaving my druggie nephews to grow their 8 plants, cash their never ending unemployment checks and collect their housing subsidies while waiting for the EBT card to get recharged every month. The idiots who elected the politicians who gave them the benefits can support them now.
The only good thing about the recent redistricting in AZ is that politics here is no longer competitive. (We had an independent commission. This should give the folks in CA a good laugh.) I'm still free to make my meager political contributions to conservative candidates in other states and I would recommend others in red states or blue do the same. That and keep the faith, resist the encroaching tyranny and as always, be prepared for the worse.
So I lost all my guns in a boating mishap
Im one
FU you noobie
Or half as many types.
KC, thanks for the info. Explains why some will choose to foregoe the entire state, which can and probably will get worse.
ALL handguns on the DOJ roster are expiring, and the AG is not letting them be renewed. The last gun on the list will expire on 12-31-13. Of 1,310 guns on the list, half will have expired on 7-1-13. Check out the CA doj website and checkout the legal for sale roster. In effect, new handguns will not be eligible for purchase after next year.
Wow, thanks.
Left CA 7.5 years ago... no looking back, well, only to visit my dad.
A perfect example. :) Our FReepers in California are also generous and loyal donors to this site.
I agree with your statements of support for others.
Anyone anywhere who believes in freedom and is struggling to maintain freedom, human, and property rights has my support. I am on their team. Of course, I live in a state not much different than California, governmentally.
I am not “where I live”—I am “what I believe”.
So tell me slick, are you taking the blame for having a Communist block Captain out of Chicago as President?
Is it everyone else fault?
Or just do you just uncontrollably burp up inconsistent comments as a matter of routine?
Well said. “We must all hang together, or we shall surely ...” (you know how to complete the sentence)
“...I am not where I live I am what I believe...”
Well said and spot on the money.
Thank you, friend.
A most unusual looking revolver, the Rhino...nasty and intimidating. I like it.
I like “The Judge” from Taurus too..
You’re right..there are a lot of ignorant liberals in CA, but before you refer to the state as a cesspool, please realize that there were 5M who voted (R) vs 1.5M in Tennessee. While CA has its problems, there are huge numbers of conservatives that will fix them. Don’t forget ammo Californians. If it’s somehow ever legislated out, an empty gun does nothing.
“...We must all hang together...”
You have to wonder why it’s so difficult for some people to understand that most simple, basic principle.
The other side has NO problem understanding it.
You also wonder what the Founders went through with people of their own time - there were of course the Loyalists, who saw the Crown as the legitimate governmental authority;
then of course, they had their “moderates” too, I would imagine - those who tried to play both sides of the fence, watching which flag should be hung out at the end of each day (worthless scumbags)...
And they had the hardcore Rebels who wanted Direct Action (Sam Adams comes to mind), as well as those advising patience and caution...
What of the folks who tried to stay out of it? How did they deal with them? Ultimately, balancing on a fence gets you pushed to one side or the other; you can’t sit there forever.
I imagine their time was not much different than ours, human-nature wise.
And yet they still managed to create a country...
Whats the voting population of CA compared w/ those who voted republican? Is that > the same ratio of TN voters? I suspect not but couldnt say for sure.
CA not only has its problems but exports them as well.
Your last comments are baffling. To me it sounds like youll just roll over.
