Romney's Defeat Caused by "Extraordinary" Drop in White Male Support[Election Autopsy]

Failed campaign: Mitt Romney's staff found that he lost an 'extraordinary' number of white, male votes during the election - traditionally key supporters of the Republican party

And in another blow, Romney’s own campaign manager also admitted that his infamous 47 per cent comment was ‘the epitome of low during the campaign’ - from which they never recovered.

California as he reflects upon what went wrong. Now Neil Newhouse, his campaign pollster, has begun to sift through the data to determine what the key factors were.

He said that he had to give ‘credit’ to the Obama campaign for getting out the Latino and African- American vote, and praised the President’s so-called ‘ground game’ for being extremely effective. He said: ‘We weren’t surprised by racial composition; we were surprised by the partisan composition...

The real hidden story here on our side, the number of white men who didn’t vote in this election compared to four years ago was extraordinary... And these white men were replaced by white women. We were taking a group we won by 27 points and replacing them with a group we won by 12-14 points.’

... In an interview with Talking Points Memo, Romney’s campaign manager Matt Rhoades said the candidate’s 47 per cent comment at a behind closed doors fundraiser became a real problem.

He said that they put in place a five-point plan to rebuild Romney’s image but he was unable to recover. Rhoades said that they tried to ‘gin up our surrogate load’ by sending high-profile Romney supporters across the country to ‘speak to the governor’s character'. Big speeches were lined up and Romney was asked to speak in front of a podium instead of walking around the stage - but in the end it all came to nothing.

Can't you just imagine this was the scene with Obama and his Commie staff after stealing the election through voter fraud- while Conservatives blame Romney, argue, point fingers, blather on about who to run in four years, 'starting a new party', and try to figure out how to suck up to minorities the 'next time'?

What most refuse to acknowledge is that it was unlikely that ANYBODY could have beaten the voter fraud planned and perpetrated by the Obama machine. They seem to prefer pointing fingers, blaming Romney and blathering on about who to run in 2016 and how to suck up to the minorities.

So how did Romney lose a race that numerous reputable polls and pundits predicted would be an easy win, based on historical patterns?

Massive voter fraud.

We can not wait for 2014 and 2016 to regroup and figure out new strategies. By then it will be too late. The Marxist/Muslim usurper will have completed his planned distruction of America. That's what people fail to understand.

We must act NOW.

Start with the election. If we let the Rats get away with this massive voter fraud, we're no better than a bananna republic.

We must keep digging and pounding him every day, in every way we can- phony birth certificate, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, his hidden life, records....

If you actually had taken the time to divest yourself of emotions such as fear and disgust with Obama and taken a cold hard look at Romney's record, you would understand that Romney would also have participated in the further dismantling of freedon and prosperity, the rising costs and taxes, the expanded union power, the likely appointment of very liberal SC judges, the cementing in place and expansion of Obama/Robertscare and the expansion of the welfare state in general. However, he would have done it a smidgen slower, BUT he would have done it under the auspices of "Republican" and, between "moderate" (liberal) Republicans and Democrats, would have so marginalized limited government conservative Republicans that they would have had LESS chance of stopping the "dismantling" than they do now against Obama.

I'm sad Obama won, but I'm glad Romney lost because I know that the theory that conservatives would "hold his feet to the fire" was akin to the rainbow unicorn theory.

Now if somewhat of a political junkie activist such as me had a hard time voting for Mittens, how can one expect people less involved to care and vote at all?

I couldn't bring myself to put Etch a Sketch, Massachusetts liberal, Mitt's bumper stickers on my vehicles or signs on my lawn.

This is the first election when both haven't been plastered with Republican signage. The repub party has wandered way to the left of '60s democrats. I USED to put 4X8s on my Unimog and military trailers and move them around to high travel areas

I USED to pick up signs in Concord and bring them north, then as soon as foliage season was over, bring many of them back south.

Maybe if we get a conservative constitutionalist in a future year, I'll become active again.

Voter fraud was the heart of the defeat of the Republicans. How can a district in St Lucie County, Florida, have only 7 REGISTERED voters and get 900 votes into the system?

How can voters in a number of states complain that touching the screen for Romney gave them a vote for Obama? This needs to be addressed and the Republicans are blaming Romney!!!
