The post-election soul searching going on inside the Republican Party is taking place inside Fox News as well. Fox News chief Roger Ailes, a canny marketer and protector of his networks brand, has been taking steps since November to reposition Fox in the post-election media environment, freshening story lines and in some cases, changing the characters. According to multiple Fox sources, Ailes has issued a new directive to his staff: He wants the faces associated with the election off the air for now. For Karl Rove and Dick Morris a pair of pundits perhaps most closely aligned with Foxs anti-Obama campaign Ailess orders mean new rules. Ailess deputy, Fox News programming chief Bill Shine, has sent out orders mandating that producers must get permission before booking Rove or Morris. Both pundits made several appearances in the days after the election, but their visibility on the network has dropped markedly. Inside Fox News, Morriss Romney boosterism and reality-denying predictions became a punch line. At a rehearsal on the Saturday before the election, according to a source, anchor Megyn Kelly chuckled when she relayed to colleagues what someone had told her: I really like Dick Morris. Hes always wrong but he makes me feel good.
A Fox spokesperson confirmed the new booking rules for Rove and Morris, and explained that Shines message was the elections over.
Multiple sources say that Ailes was angry at Roves election-night tantrum when he disputed the networks call for Obama. While the moment made for riveting television it was Ailess decision to have Kelly confront the statisticians on air in the end, it provided another data point for Foxs critics. A spokesperson for Ailes denied any rift between Ailes and Rove, and said the two plan to meet this week.
I can’t stand the way that Rove pronounces “Warshington” and “Calarada.” Besides that, Rove gave bad advice to Bush. I read that it was Rove who advised Bush not to respond to the “Bush lied about WMDs.” Bush should have pushed back and pointed out that most of the senators (including Hillary Clinton) looked at the same intelligence that Bush looked at and voted to invade Iraq. To this day Bush’s failure to respond has hurt the Republican party. Get lost Rove!
Rove is the main RINO who was responsible for Romney winning the GOP nomination. He has backed pro-abortion republicans in the past and will continue to do. When I hear Hannity call him “The Architect” I feel like throwing up.
Flush Rove. Good riddance to u Rove. I am certain Hannity is very upset
about this development.
Now if they could only cancel all appearances of Beckel and Juan Williams....
It will be a welcome relief on my part to not see either one of them for a while.

I brought that relief to my own viewing some time ago by refusing to watch almost no Fox News programs. Sick of the turn they have taken.
At this very moment, the husband is watching Brett’s “Special Report” on DVR in the next room. I used to watch it with him. No more. I do still watch Greta on DVR, but usually wind up FFwding a lot of it, especially since she loves to have McCain and Lindsey Graham on.
Does Rove personify the stupid party or is it the other way around? But then, I really don’t care as long as he and the Bushes go away to be never heard from again.
...it is all propanda including FOX News.

Agree.
Lets not forget, Bush and Rove helped elect Obama, as well.
Same here! Fox News was the only network news I watched... until Nov 7. I have not watched Fox or any other since then. I don’t intend to watch until they call obama what he is. To talk about him like he’s a normal democrat, I can’t take. This is a person who is not the normal United States of America President. If they don’t see the seriousness of what is happening, then they are way too out of touch with reality to be a news organization.
General Petraeus should take Rove’s place as political commentator. He’s got time on his hands, and Ailes wants him to run for president.
I doubt it.
Bush was so bad that a majority of the American people still blame him for the economy four years later. It’s not all just Obama’s lyin’ and persuadin’. Bush really was bad.
lol... for which party?
I wish they would just tie him up, he just needs to go away.
Same here!!
Fox News was the only one I watched, until Nov 7. I can’t stand the way they treat this president like he’s a normal democrat. If they can’t see the seriousness of what we’re in, then they have no business calling themselves a news organization. Don’t want to see his face nor hear him talk.
It’s rough out here and it’s going to get worse. How much worse does it have to be before Fox calls it like it is.
She makes me sick!!!!!
Can you believe that pro’s like Rove, Morris, and Barrone, are unable to calculate the impact of VOTE FRAUD?!?!?
The sign of a confident writer.
By not watching FOX, you missed out on the "Fiscal Cliff""Fiscal Cliff""Fiscal Cliff""Fiscal Cliff""Fiscal Cliff""Fiscal Cliff".....Tom
