At every gun show I have attended the private sellers of one or two personal firearms are lined up near the entrance, sitting where you can see them, or walking back and forth along the pathways from the parking lots. They ususally have the gun(s) openly displayed and carry a 'for sale' sign.
Buying from these sellers is perfectly legal and can be totally free of a paper trail. Most are happy to do a transaction with no I.D. but rarely one may want some I.D. - Then it's up to the buyer to make the choice to provide I.D. or walk away from the deal.
Also our local newspapers and local buy/sell/barter websites list guns for sale by private owner. It's against Craigslist rules to offer guns for sales but you can find some there, or find some leads there. People selling guns and ammo can be very imaginative in how they word their listings.
Interesting information. Thanks.
Funny you should mention beans. I gave my mom money to get beans by the sack and we got two. Its a start. =)
“Bitch all you want that I use it to much or that using a quote from a SciFi/Fantasy TV Program lessens the seriousness of the subject of preparedness.”
Don’t let people bother you about that Star Trek quote - although from a fictional story, its essential message is as true as anything in the Bible. Hew-mon nature is unchanged from that of our distant ancestors, and when survival is at stake people will do some pretty savage things. Best to be prepared.
