Prominent gender and media studies professors from across the country converged recently to help host what was dubbed by organizers as a Feminist, Anti-Racist Wikipedia Edit-a-thon to create or influence dozens of entries on the online encyclopedia.

As far as history goes, many thanks are due to our veterans who have an interest in keeping unit and ship histories complete and accurate. Thanks, indeed. Homer's uncle was navigator on the Chason crew. (3rd from L., kneeling) There is a unit diary on the same site. I was floored when I first discovered this information was available, thanks to vets.

A Claremont Graduate University endowment fund sponsored the effort, which promoted creating and improving entries dedicated to: feminists; feminist theories; science studies; science, technology and society; human sexuality; artificial intelligence; and film theory; according to an email that announced the event to the Claremont Colleges community, as well as the Edit-a-thon Wikipedia Page. Not to worry, most people won't bother with any but the science and technology pages. It would be hard to imagine how feminism or any other ism could change those.

Gosh. I’ve used Wikipedia often over the past couple of years, and donated the amount ($5) they suggested they needed from every user to keep it up and running. If it goes totally hogwash liberal, it won’t be worth a nickel.

If you go to it for tech information you’ll never see the garbage pit. There’s not too much about Windows or Linux that lends itself to liberal agendas. However it’s not just a techpedia.

Things like Conservapedia are part of the reason why we’re losing to the left.
The left quietly takes over mainstream or non-idealogical resources (be it news organizations, Hollywood, the education system or websites). The general public doesn’t realize they’ve been co-opted.
Conservatives start openly conservative competitors to the co-opted resources.
The average, low information, member of the public is then left with the impression that the left wing resource is still “middle of the road,” while the conservative resource is biased. As a result the conservative resources are immediately discounted.
We need to play the long game and undo what the left did and reconvince the public that conservative is mainstream.

I fear we don’t have that kind of time to right it without a civil re-rest (I won’t call it unrest to reclaim your country from tyrants).

...but no photo of Sarah Palin?"
That's because you are suffering from PDS. You'll find Sarah under the failed reality TV stars category. She isn't, and has never been a political power of any sort beyond those with PDS.
