an “elephant in the room” is something not talked about and deliberately not noticed.
“Race” as a topic isn’t ignored, because it’s used as a constant bludgeon by the left to gain more power.
The true “elephant in the room” is black racial animosity and racially motivated violence perpetrated on white people. THAT’S what’s deliberately ignored. Not “race” or “racism” itself as an issue, just black racism.
Well said Mr B.
Ya think?
The other elephant in the room is the pervasive stupidity and cowardice of the white population in the U.S.
MrB is correct. "Race" is talked about incessantly, but only in one direction. The only acceptable narrative is that all problems encountered by black people are caused by present or past racism on the part of white people.
The unacceptable narrative is that the current state of blacks is in any way their own fault. Any attempt to point out dysfunctional black culture as a cause of problems is "blaming the victim". Any attempt to imply any genetic cause for black problems will result in the person saying it forever being labeled a racist and excluded from all discussion.
