Bob Costas blaming the availability of handguns caused the death of the KC Football LB and his girlfriend. Thing is, Belcher could have killed his GF with a knife and then stabbed himself, taken pills or driven his car into something. Bob Costas needs to get another face lift and retire.
I caught it and was about to start a thread.
Bob Costas starts out by moaning how some people have said that the murder/suicide made some people say “Well, that puts sports in the proper perspective”
He then drones on about some unknown news guy (from KC?) who wrote a blistering anti-gun article.
Costas ends by saying something to the effect that if the guy didn’t have a gun, two people would be alive now.
That dwarf has always really, really disturbed me.
But you have to expect the liberal press to use this event to their maximum advantage. Proof that they don’t really have a hint or a clue at all about what went down or is going on around them!
Costas went on a 10 minute anti-gun screed. “If he would not have had a gun, both he and his girlfriend would be alive.” - WHAT? By that logic, we need to ban football as well, since it leads to higher instances of violence against women. Is Costas prepared to push for the death of his bread and butter, the NFL? And has he never heard of knives, bats, pills, fire, or carbon monoxide? I guess this is our world now with the adults in this country now being the minority.
Basically, Bob Costas used part of NBC's Sunday Night Football broadcast to promote anti-RKBA propaganda by blaming the "gun culture" for the murder-suicide by that Chiefs' player. Liberals have no shame.
