Residents of states that refuse to set up health insurance exchanges under Obamacare are set to be hit with higher premiums under new rules announced by the Health and Human Services Department.
Insurance companies will be charged 3.5 percent of any premiums they sell through the federal exchanges, the department announced Friday. And insurers are likely to pass that surcharge on to clients, leaading to higher premiums.
The only states to be affected are those that refuse to set up their own exchanges because of opposition to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. They are almost certain to be those under Republican control. In those states, HHS will set up the exchanges. …

For better or worse I have this CPA friend, and Enrolled Agent and they are freaking. I'll save you the 411 as to what I have learned over the last month, it is scary, the IRS and these tax pros are running out of time to do their job everyday Obama drags this out.
Worse is my discussions with people in business and those who interact with small businessmen every day.

Everyone is prepping for Obamacare, i.e. reducing staff to 28 hrs or dumping people into the exchanges, hanging onto cash, not going foward with capital projects, closing down businesses or selling to competitors because they are no longer going forward organizations and they are wiped out trying to eek out a living the last 4 years.
MY guess Jan, thru April with this business stuff and Taxamageddon might finally wake people up.

The fruitcakes here on FR have for months tried to make "the establishment" out to be the bogeyman but it's all a myth.
I had NO pressure on me to support anyone I didn't want to in the primary.
Now, you want to blame this on "the establishment". I have no idea if you supported Romney or Obama and I don't care but for ANYONE who knew who Obama was and they refused to stop him, I have nothing but contempt for each and everyone of you.

I’m not sure if you are aware of this or not, but this election was not about either of them.
The election was about the 47% keeping their free stuff.
The 47% were more motivated to vote to keep their stuff than the 51% were about keeping their earned stuff.
Combined with the obvious voter fraud on a scale we have never seen before, this election was over before it started.
We are great producers... Great innovators... and Great complainers...
But we suck at enforcing the law that the democrats consistently thwart.
