Residents of states that refuse to set up health insurance exchanges under Obamacare are set to be hit with higher premiums under new rules announced by the Health and Human Services Department.
Insurance companies will be charged 3.5 percent of any premiums they sell through the federal exchanges, the department announced Friday. And insurers are likely to pass that surcharge on to clients, leaading to higher premiums.
The only states to be affected are those that refuse to set up their own exchanges because of opposition to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. They are almost certain to be those under Republican control. In those states, HHS will set up the exchanges. …

Perhaps citizens should “vet” their local talking heads and media people and out them for any and all “indescretions”.
We recently had a black, female local Fox5 “news” anchor who drove the wrong way down a street and was involved in an accident (alcohol)...haven’t heard or seen anything from her since it happened.
Wouldn’t it be great if citizens started “keeping an eye” on the personal lives of the whores who speak “news-speak” AND the owners of the stations?
Time to “attack” the media that is in the process of attacking us.
OPPPPSSSS let’s try that again “The Supreme court said that states could not be forced to do this and by adding a new tax to it they are infact trying to once again force states to comply.Back to the supreme court the states will have to go.”
Even if they were to defund this, doesn’t it have to go through the Senate? Even more, through Obama himself? How are they going to succeed in this “defunding” process, if it has to go to the Senate, then to him?
I have no idea. IT was just a rant that I didn’t expect to get this ridiculous quantity of responses.
Ha Ha Ha..... The onsize fits all is gone.
He can now be sued for discrimination.
Who needs laws when there are regulations.
He should not be reinaugurated.
So much for Equal Protection, the Privileges and Immunities clause, etc. Obama is in charge, and our Dear Leader must not be resisted!
