Opportunity Conservatism NO! Remember the last time we put a word in front of "conservatism" to qualify for more voters? COMPASSIONATE ring a bell? And what did that get us? Karl Rove and GW Bush. No thanks. Conservatism has always been about creating opportunities for everyone. We don't need to qualify it as if it's something we are going to do differently. I say we nip this in the bud now and never speak of it again.

That could be the problem. The 'conservatives' may have to take a section out of the Leftist paybook.
'Conservatism' and all of its assocated words have become toxic because of the Leftists and the MSM. Perhaps, it is time to coin a new phrase -- same principles, just different terminology. The Leftists did it a century ago with their becoming 'progressives,' when in actuality they are more socialist than democratic.
Of course, the Leftists and MSM will vilify any new words, just like they did with 'Tea Party' and the resulting 'teabagger' references.
The biggest problem the 'conservatives' have is getting their word out. They have few venues for doing so. The Leftist influence permeates most of the print and broadcast media. Other than the political talkshows, the Right has little in the way of outlets.
