KUNDUZ, Afghanistan (CBSDC) — Afghan police arrest two men for allegedly beheading a 15-year-old girl after her father turned down a marriage proposal.
According to BBC News, the two men who proposed the arranged marriage and attacked her are relatives of the girl.
“Our investigation shows those who killed her were people who wanted to marry her,” a Kunduz province police official told the BBC.
The father did not want his daughter to get married because she was “too young to be engaged.”
CNN reports the girl was killed near her family’s home while bringing back water.
According to The Washington Post, dozens of Afghan women kill themselves each year in order to avoid arranged marriages.

Islam should not be considered a culture and certainly not a 7th century culture.
Not all cultures in the 7th century acted the way Islam does. Islam is an aberration whose nature and design can never be rectified.

So why do we give them 1st Amendment protection when it is Islam’s plan to destroy every other religion under that same protective umbrella?

I’m curious as to how this will go, as the father in Islam has absolute say over who the daughter marries unless that’s ceded to tribal leaders in those situations.
These guys should eat a bullet, but something tells me the woman hating nature of Islam will let them off the hook.

I did ask one about 2 years ago - about Sharia Law penetrating our judicial system.
He was of the opinion it wouldn’t/couldn’t happen because of our Constitution - - -
We know better now.
There is no answer in Afghanistan except by serious force but who knows how long it would hold.
