Susan Rice, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations whose name has been floated as a possible secretary of state nominee, may soon face opposition from the environmental lobby over what the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) called a potential financial conflict of interest on Wednesday.
According to her May 2012 financial disclosure, Rice has an investment in TransCanada Corporation worth between $300,000 and $600,000. TransCanada is angling for the State Departments permission to build the final portion of the Keystone XL pipeline a 1,700-mile conduit for crude oil between Canadian deposits and Texas refineries.
If she were confirmed as secretary of state, Rice would have final authority to green-light the large section of the pipeline project still languishing in regulatory purgatory.

Rices disclosure form a document required of high-ranking executive branch employees shows that she and husband Ian Cameron, a longtime ABC News producer, have a net worth between $26,344,219 and $38,826,000. (The form requires only a range of valuations for each asset.)

Imagine that.
Just picked up on Rush’s talk show....
what kind of shares are they? Big difference. I would guess she has come into the best class at a discount to her. No doubt there is fire with her smoke

More of the incestuous relationship between media and the politicians they "objectively" cover.
“she and husband Ian Cameron, a longtime ABC News producer, have a net worth between $26,344,219 and $38,826,000.”
How DO these warriors for the poor always seem to accumulate so much money? Thinking,thinking........
Does anyone know how Susan Rice accumulated a $26 million mimimum net worth?
According to the left all rich people stole or swindled the money.
I agree with those who think Susan Rice is a distraction from what the White House and State Department did or didn’t do with regard to Benghazi.
All wealthy liberals should pay their “fair share”.
"Rice was born in Washington, D.C.,[1] to Emmett J. Rice (1919 2011), Cornell University economics professor and the second black governor of the Federal Reserve System;[1] and education policy scholar Lois (Dickson) Fitt, currently at the Brookings Institution.[2] Her parents divorced during her youth."
Could be some $$$ from an inheritance.
"Rice was managing director and principal at Intellibridge from 2001 to 2002."
Also she's apparently a freakin' Capitalist.
Hmm....

Bill Clinton on Keystone XL pipeline: ‘Embrace’ it

The lineup promoting TransCanadas interests was a textbook study in modern, bipartisan corporate influence peddling. Lobbyists ranged from the arch-conservative Grover Norquists Americans for Tax Reform to TransCanadas in-house lobbyist Paul Elliott, who worked on both Hillary and Bill Clintons Presidential campaigns. President Clintons former Ambassador to Canada, Gordon Giffin, a major contributor to Hillary Clintons Presidential and Senate campaigns, was on TransCanadas payroll, too.
Shocked — just shocked.
That is only for us peons.
Matter of fact, they should pay at a higher rate, since they’re the ones who want the government programs. For example, they could fund Obamacare.
Sounds good to me.
More confirmation for my belief that Obama is about to throw the greenies under the bus.
Apparently some well-connected Demorats stand to get very wealthy from this thing. Plus Obama will need new sources of revenue to tap if he intends to keep growing government bigger and bigger.
Is this story being run to make it sound like she will do something ‘right-wingers’ will like?
That old windbag still on the air?
